CACHE VALLEY CENTER FOR THE ARTS

BULLEN CENTER                              ELLEN ECCLES THEATRE                      THATCHER-YOUNG MANSION

Cache Valley Center for the Arts (CVCA) was founded as the Capitol Arts Alliance in October of 1989 and was renamed the Cache Valley Center for the Arts in November of 2003. CVCA is an independent non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was formed to oversee the restoration of the Ellen Eccles Theatre and Thatcher-Young Mansion, and the construction of the Bullen Center. CVCA is the heart of performing and visual arts in Cache Valley, providing residents and visitors with a variety of artistic experiences including world class music, dance, Broadway, Opera, children's theatre, ceramics, painting and drawing classes, music classes, yoga, downtown tours, and on-going visual arts showcases.

CVCA continues to manage and operate the Ellen Eccles Theatre, Bullen Center, and Thatcher Young Mansion, though the facilities are owned by the City of Logan. Funding for the Center's facility maintenance and operation is partially provided by the City of Logan and Cache County. The Center is governed by a supportive and active Board of Trustees with several committees that play an active role in the programming and facility operation, continuing the tradition of volunteer community involvement that saved and restored the theatre.
